GRAPE VARIETIES:70% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, 10% Canaiolo
SOIL COMPOSITION: clay schist and limestone
HARVEST: enf of September , beginning of October
VINIFICATION: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks, malolactic fermentation in french oak
DEVELOPMENT : in tonneaux of 3.50 hl. for 16 months
AGING :
in bottle for more than 18 months
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13,5 %
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18°/19° C
COMBINATION WITH FOOD: Recommended with most meats and cheeses

TASTING NOTES

COLOUR: Ruby red, intensely purplish
NOSE: Ample, elegant, fine, persistent, fruity with sweet and spicy nuances
PALATE: Soft, rich in texture, fat and almost opulent with firm tannins. Well balanced acidity with texture and bodyin harmony both texture and body. Long, persistent finish  with small red fruits combined with spices.
