ELEVATION: 100 to 200 mt.
SUN EXPOSURE : South - south west
POSITION: hilly
GRAPE VARIETIES:80% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon
SOIL COMPOSITION: clay schist and limestone
HARVEST: enf of September , first days of October
VINIFICATION: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks, malolactic fermentation in french oak
DEVELOPMENT : in barrique and tonneaux of 3.50 hl. for 15 months AGING : in bottle for at least 10 months
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13,5 %
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18°/19° C
COMBINATION WITH FOOD: Recommended with both red and white meats as well as most types of cheese

TASTING NOTES

COLOUR: Deep ruby red
NOSE: Ample, elegant, refined, sweet and fruity with spicy aromas
PALATE: Soft, firm, fat with dense and sweet tannins, well balanced acidity in harmony both texture and body. Long and persistentfinish  fruity with small red fruits and spicy tones.
