"ALL'UCCELLETTO" BEANS

Ingredients ( serves 4 )

  • 200 gr. of dried “cannellini” beans
  • 200gr. of peeled tomatoes
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • sage
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt
  • black pepper

 

Leave the beans in water for approximately 8 hours and after boil them with 2 cloves of garlic and some leaves of sage.
Put the leaves of sage and the remaining garlic in a pan with the oil, until they will be coloured, then add the beans, salt and pepper. Add the peeled tomatoes milled with the vegetable mill and reduce the sauce.
